Actually, I returned 2 weeks ago, but it's been hectic since then. The American Academy of Neurology annual meeting was in Chicago this year, very convenient as it's just a one-hour flight out of Rochester. I attended from Monday to Thursday, flying back to Rochester first thing Friday morning. I had two poster presentations, one on Tuesday and one on Thursday. The first presentation got a fantastic response; I was fielding questions for almost three-and-a-half hours (the session itself was only scheduled for 3 hours) and I also recorded a video interview (intended for a French neurology audience, so I doubt you or I will ever get to see it). The other poster was on a far more esoteric topic, but I was satisfied with the response it received. ![]() With Jason and Jennifer in Chicago I also attended several excellent educational sessions, and spent the rest of my time in Chicago wining and dining. Since then, as I mentioned, it's been busy back at work. One of my papers was accepted for publication, and I submitted two others in the last two days. So I'm looking forward to a relaxing weekend (as relaxing as it can be with two young children). |
